Black Soap Purifying Bar

Face Wash

• Step 1: Wet your face with lukewarm to cool water.

• Step 2: Lather a small piece of black soap in your hands until it foams.

• Step 3: Gently massage the lather onto your face in circular motions (avoid direct contact with eyes).

• Step 4: Rinse thoroughly with cool water.

• Step 5: Pat dry and follow with a moisturizer (black soap can be drying if used alone).

Recommended: Use once daily if you have sensitive or dry skin, or twice daily for oily/acne-prone skin.

Body Wash

• Step 1: Wet your body in the shower.

• Step 2: Rub the soap directly on your skin or onto a washcloth/sponge.

• Step 3: Work into a rich lather and cleanse as usual.

• Step 4: Rinse thoroughly.

• Step 5: Apply a body moisturizer or oil afterward to lock in hydration.

Suitable for daily use.

Hair Cleanser (Optional)

• Step 1: Wet hair thoroughly.

• Step 2: Rub a small amount of lather into your scalp.

• Step 3: Massage gently to cleanse dirt and excess oil.

• Step 4: Rinse well and follow with conditioner.

Use once a week to avoid dryness.

 

Tips & Precautions

• Patch Test First: Try on a small area of skin to check for sensitivity.

• Moisturize After Use: Black soap is alkaline and may feel drying, so always follow with a moisturizer.

• Store Properly: Keep in a cool, dry place. Black soap absorbs moisture easily, so store in an airtight container or wrap in plastic.

• Use Small Amounts: A little goes a long way—overuse can strip natural oils.

• Avoid Eyes: Can sting if it gets into the eyes.

 

• Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
• Keep product in a dry, cool area and away from direct sunlight.
• For external use only.
• Keep product away from the reach of children.

• Natural source of potash (alkali), which reacts with oils to form soap.
• Contains vitamins A & E that support skin healing and regeneration.
• Offers antibacterial and antifungal properties, making it effective against acne and minor skin infections.
• Provides gentle exfoliation, helping to remove dead skin cells and improve texture.

 

Distilled Water:

• Ensures purity and consistency in soap-making by removing minerals and contaminants found in tap water.

• Prevents unwanted reactions that could cause soap to spoil or develop spots.

• Helps create a stable lye solution when combined with plantain ash, ensuring proper saponification.

• Improves shelf life and quality of the final soap bar.

 

Olea Europaea Fruit Oil:

• Deeply moisturizes the skin: Rich fatty acids help replenish dryness and support long‑lasting hydration.

• Gently cleanses without stripping: Its mild, nourishing profile leaves skin soft and comfortable after washing.

• Supports a healthy skin barrier: Antioxidants like vitamin E help protect and maintain smoother, more resilient skin.
